Acupuncture

The information that I'm going to give you is not anything that I have invented. This is from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO). And what they found is that when you place a needle on a specifc area, it sends a message to the brain. And the brain recognizes that as a microtrauma, and the brain goes to work: releasing endorphins, encephalons, bradykinins, and neurotransmitters to the problematic area to (a) shut the pain off, (b) increases bloodflow to the problematic area so that the area can actually heal (bring nutrition into that area), (c) to cause the musculature to come out of spasm so that the joint can shift back into position and articulate more appropriately.
Acupuncture is Safe & Effective

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are time-tested, safe, effective, natural and drug-free ways to eliminate pain. Unlike other methods for handling pain, there are no side effects. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) acknowledge the benefits of acupuncture in treating and eliminating pain due to a wide range of causes. Acupuncture is a very old practice--older than most forms of modern medicine. While it is practically painless, it is a proven method for removing acute and chronic pain and most forms of mild to severe discomfort.
The Process of Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, sterile, virtually painless needles into very specific areas on the body such as the hand, wrist, ear, etc. for the purpose of restoring the correct electrical and biomechanical makeup of your nervous system. Over thousands of years in the East, the nervous system has been studied and catalogued to a very high degree of preciseness. When wars were fought, it was discovered that sometimes when a man's leg or arm had been peirced, another part of his body recovered much faster than normal. As these observations accumulated, it was discovered that the practice of benign peircing could actually have powerful recovery potential. This process can be used today in a professional, modern balance of science and skill.
