I became aware of Dr. Lee Funk through friends who have had wonderful experiences with his services. And at that point, I was a little desperate. I had damaged my shoulders and my arms by being overly enthusiastic at a health club that I had joined--where I was using and exercising muscles that I had not used in a long time in my shoulders and arms. I overdid it, pulled ligaments, or whatever I did I am not really aware of, however my own MD was not able to give me any help. And pain pills were not relieving anything but the pain, because I still had no movement. So from there, I went to a chiropractor--unfortunately, that did not give me any relief. I tried Kinesiology, and that also unfortunately did not work. And I even tried a program by auto-suggestion, where they were trying to mentally cure this--and that certainly did not work either!!
But, the treatments that Dr. Funk prescribed and did on me gave me immediate results which was kindof amazing at that point. At one point, when I could not actually raise my hands up to mid-chest level, I could suddenly raise up my arms past my head which was fantastic.
There were other issues too. I have had a bad back all of my life, and I have always been dealing with that. And I noticed that there was a great deal of natural atrophying of my muscles as I was aging. --My leg muscles, my back muscles, just in general. So, many of his treatments were effective in multiple areas of my health.
So I can literately lift my hands above head these days. I am literately pain free. I no longer have to go to the beauty shop to have my hair shampoed because I can now reach up with my own arms and do it. And I'm very happy and relieved patient.
