Many years ago, I was in a terrible traffic accident where my automobile--my little red sportscar--got T-boned, and I did not think I was going to survive that. Well, I did survive obviously but I had some really bad neck pain (it was a sublicated vertebrae that was extremely painful).
I went to a Neurologist, and he recommended that I have a deep-tissue massage and other therapies too. But he also sent me to a chiropractor and I ended up seeing Dr. Lee Funk. I had never been to a chiropracter before and I did not know what to expect. I saw him about three times a week and I'll tell you:
I did not think I would ever get relief from my back pain or my neck pain. But Lee, through his skill and his talented hands and his knowledge, found a way to not only alleviate my pain for the time being (it was not just a temporary relief) but it turned out to be for the rest of my life up until this point. I was told that I would never be able to go back to the Gym and lift weights or put any heavy weight behind my head (doing squats, for instance), that it would be bad for me, and that I would not be able to lift my hands above my head because of the pain, that I should stay away from doing any over-head exercises.
But, almost like a miracle, Dr. Funk knew exactly what to do. I was fine with his treatments, and I went regularly. And he did exactly what he promised to do--so I want to think him for giving me my life back, and my well-being, and my overall physical condition back!
